Goat Keeping Morning
Join us for a delightful morning on the farm with Suzie, where you'll step into the life of a goat keeper and experience the joy of caring for our beloved herd. The morning begins with a warm welcome, a short chat to introduce you to our goats, and a hearty hot breakfast roll to set you up for the day ahead. You’ll then get hands-on, helping to care for our friendly Golden and British Guernsey goats. Learn about their unique personalities as you feed and tend to their needs. The highlight of the morning is milking the goats – an experience that connects you to the roots of traditional farming and gives you a glimpse of how we produce our award-winning cheese.
This interactive experience is perfect for animal lovers, foodies, or anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape. You’ll leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for these charming animals, and plenty of happy memories.
Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Comfortable outdoor clothing and wellies are recommended.

Meet the Goats-A Family Fun Experience
Bring the whole family along to meet our friendly and curious goats in this delightful one-hour experience. Perfect for all ages, you’ll have the chance to interact with our Golden and British Guernsey goats, learning about their unique personalities and how we care for them at Abbey Farm Cottage. If there are kids (baby goats) on the farm, you’ll even get the special opportunity to bottle-feed them – a truly heart-warming activity that’s bound to delight children and adults alike! This relaxed and interactive experience is a wonderful way to introduce your family to life on the farm, creating memories you’ll treasure. Don’t forget your camera – our goats love to pose!
