Nice stay, for my birthday, quiet relaxing environment which is in a lovely spot & only about half an hour from Whitby. Rosedale is very nice & the tearooms & nearby pub a short walk. We stayed in the Hootsman which was lovely and cosy. We opted for the full English breakfast hamper which was very good value for money and did us both two mornings & the rest I brought home. There was also butter and milk in the fridge & some tea coffee & biscuits which was a lovely touch. I loved seeing the goats and chickens from the window and the hot tub was lovely, we took some of our own logs but we didn’t need them all as there was enough for three nights included in the price we paid along with fire lighters & kindling. We appreciated the welcome from Jonty and as no one was staying in the shepherds huts he gave us a little tour & they looked lovely. All in all a loved it & would recommend for a chill out stay.

Suzie and Jonny's place was beautiful and serene. The Hootsman itself was really cosy and had everything you could possibly need. outside being surrounded my nature was lovely and we felt

Really pleased we found this place on a last minute search. The location is perfect and our hut was spotless. Suzie was very helpful and accommodating and you have everything you need, whilst still feeling like you’re ‘off grid.’ Thanks for a lovely weekend

Everything about this venue is lovely. Dog friendly, nice decor inside. 200m walk to a local pub which served great food.
